Domaine Chandon: The first sparkling wine venture of Napa Valley, Domaine Chandon is among the best wineries of the place. Favorite French Winemakers Moet & Chandon started it in Napa, and if you are an admirer of sparkling wines, you must try their wine tasting.
Peju Province Winery: This boutique property manufactures excellent Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. You can try their 2001 Cab fabulous however it is not on the list of regular tastings. If you try it, you won’t stop until you empty a bottle. The wine tasting charge is $10 per person, but with a purchase of their wine, you get it for free. Peju Province Winery has a beautiful garden in which you can click some beautiful pictures and make your wine tour memorable.
Charles Krug: It is the first and the best winery located in Napa Valley. You can try their Sauvignon Blanc and Zinfandel Port. They serve Port with German Chocolate, and it is impressive. They charge $10-$20 per person for the wine tasting tour, and the fees are according to the selection of wines. If you purchase with them, you get some discount on the tasting fee. Silverado Brewing Company is close to Krug, and here you can sit on their outdoor restaurant and enjoy some delicious BBQ pork ribs along with their beer. They also have some reasonably priced wines.
Orin Swift: Situated in Highway 29 in Rutherford, Orin Swift is a winery with an arrangement for small groups only. You have to book an appointment to relish upon the exclusive “Prisoner” and “Papillon” wines.
Del Dotto Vineyards: Del Dotto’s cave tours and barrel tastings in Napa are quite famous. Make a booking in advance if you are keen to know how wood can impact the taste of wine. Try their Cabernet Sauvignon aged in Missouri Oak, and you can also try the Cave Blend and Ports from Del Dotto. They have a wine shop from where you can buy the finest and rare wines from all over the world.
Frank Family: Frank Family is the property of Former President of Disney Studios, Rich Frank and his wife, Connie. There is no wine tasting charge at Frank Family, and you must try the Chardonnay and Cabernet from their collection.
Caymus: If you are in a small group you should book a wine tour reservation with Caymus. They have a small tasting room that can accommodate ten people. They serve exceptional Cabernets.
